The first and third weekends of every month,  Alameda is offering a Kid's Magic the Gathering tournament, that lets both kids and parents get a chance to do what they like.

Bring your Magic the Gathering loving kids to D20 Games in Alameda for our weekly Date Night Magic Draft. 

For kids 9-14, the Magic tournament starts at 5:30 (please be here and registered at lesst 10 minutes before) and costs $15, including 3 drafted packs of Magic cards, a free pack of protective sleeves and one prize pack of Magic cards for each of the 3 matches (2/3 games) that the kid wins.  Dads, Mom's, older siblings are welcome to play also (though the kids get the packs when they play against an adult...)

$5 more adds two pieces of good local pizza and a drink. (from 5-:5:30.) Parents must leave contact information and stay within the area, and kids need to be well behaved and obey the store rules of conduct to each other, but otherwise, head on out and have good time. Limited to first 24 registered kids, so sign up early if you want to reserve a slot. (info at d20alameda dot com). Must be present by 5:30 to insure space.

Last Round ends at or before 9, so pick up between 8:30 and 9:30.

We are a place to play, so feel free to come by and bring the kids anytime we're open. It's always free to play, and as long as they are good sports and respectful to each other, kids are welcome to hang out.
